Campfire FAQs

Campfire will offer renewable energy and regenerative finance assets which have predictable output and a proven technology, e.g. Solar, Hydro, Biomass Production, Forestry.
Assets can be acquired via our new asset funding pools or our orderbook marketplace.
We do not currently have a token, but we do plan to launch one in 2026.
Campfire aims to distribute payouts for their assets on a daily basis, but some assets will require longer distribution intervals.
Tokenised assets are real-world assets which have been given a blockchain token to represent their ownership and enable trading.
Attributes of Tokenised asset:
- Historical Cashflows
- Proven Technology: e.g. solar, hydro
- Low Risk: Already operational with assessments and permits granted
- Moderate Yield: Estimated 8-14% APY variable
New Build assets are newly funded real-world asset developments which previously didn’t exist. These assets are also given tokens to represent their ownership and enable trading.
Attributes of New Build asset:
- Historical Cashflows
- Traditional & Innovative Technology
- Medium Risk: they must pass assessments and be granted permits
- High Yield: up to 23% APY variable after 2-3 years
Our whitepaper gives a breakdown of some example assets forecasts with average performance information.
New Build assets are able to reach this long-term APY because the investor must take the added risk of the development being rejected. Secondly, the project will take an estimated 1-2 years to reach the top 23% APY. Finally, when establishing an asset from new it can be built at cost price.
Not at launch, but this is in our roadmap.
Firstly, Campfire will be the first platform to combine renewable energy with other sustainable incomes to bring investors yield in years 1 and/or 2 depending on the duration it takes the energy assets to go live. Secondly, Campfire will be the first on-chain energy platform to implement a liquid exchange and OTC market. This will allow the Campfire platform to behave like a living ecosystem, rather than just a crowdfunding platform with stagnant assets.
